New Features
1.1 1080p@24Hz
The software now outputs 1080p/24Hz resolution through HDMI when playing a media encoded on 1080p/24Hz (or 1080i/24Hz), on TVs that allow this frame-rate and resolution. You have to activate the automatic framerate in the parameter universe.
1.2 More codec and container supported
· WMV-VC1 HD codec video : the files with extensions : .avi, .ts, .m2ts, mkv, WMW and asf.
· WMA PRO : codec audio with .wma extension
1.3 Web Services
The universe of Web services is disabled. Active in next firmware version June 15, 2009

2.1 Italian Language
Now , There is a Italian Language
2.2 Boot time
Now the boot time is 20 seconds faster, around 1mn 10s.
2.3 Navigation in list
In all Universes, when you are in navigator and you are scrolling in a list of items , if you reach the last element , the text is blinking. It is very useful to indicate that the end of the list is reached.
2.4 New Network Wizard
The new network wizard allow you to store multiple network configurations (and thus to store several wifi password once for all). The signal strength is also available when creating a connection.
2.5 Multinamed and compressed update
Update file (sometimes called « firmware ») can now have any-name as long as it has the .wup extension. As the algorithm for choosing the .wup file among many is subject to change, we suggest to use one .wup file on your root folder for now. This size of the file is reduced and is around 28 MB ( we are using file system squashfs)
2.6 Time Widget in TV Universe
The time widget is displayed when the info banner is (Press on button « i »)
2.7 Fan control
The fan control algorithm has been improved to enable fan stop at higher ambient temperature.
2.8 Performance
Performances have been improved. File operations on NTFS have been greatly enhanced thanks to a new NTFS driver.
External HDD to Local
Copies files from an USB device to the local file system have been multiplied by two (now, up to 7 MB/s).
Local to external HDD
Copies from the local file system to an USB device have been multiplied by three and a half (now, up to 8 MB/s).
Local performance
Copies files from the local file system to itself have been improved (now, up to 6.5 MB/s).
MTP performance
Copies from a PC to the local file system have been improved.
Copies from the local file system to a PC have been improved.
Ethernet performance
The bitrate has been improved when the number of copied files increases.
Wireless performance
The bitrate has been improved when the number of copied files increases.
2.9 Stop record in Tv universe
Before: the user had to go to the recorded channel to stop the record. Now the user can stop the record anywhere.

3.1 TV Zapping improvement
The TV zapping was improved to more robustness.
3.2 Minor quality issues solved
Some sound problems were solved with AC3 in SPDIF when raising the volume
3.3 Stability
The overall software stability was increased, the underlying Linux kernel was updated and several components were strengthened.
3.4 Less Audio/video Desynchronization
The video player has been improved by correcting audio/video desynchronization problems.
3.5 Sound
The sound saturation in high volume is now gone, the software successfully pass dolby certification
